Who We Are
We are women sharing our journeys of ups and downs while being an encouragement to one another. Be Real With Me was created to encourage women to be brave, speak up and share their stories of what they are going through without feeling looked down upon. Whether it’s an illness, stress, pressures of life, women don’t have to feel alone in it. We may think, “Am I the only one?” “Has anyone else experienced this?” “What was your experience?” You’re probably not the only one. You never know what impact your story may have for someone else going through their own personal struggles. If more women would share, it may help someone else. Our goal is for more women to be real with each other, build friendships and provide helpful resources.
My Story
Hey!
Thank you for visiting my page! Be Real With Me was created during my cancer scare with cervical cancer. I have struggled with HPV for years and in 2022 my doctor discovered precancerous cells in my cervix that resulted in me having a vaginal hysterectomy at age 39.
After I received the news, I was a hot mess. Once I stopped asking why me and started asking God what He would have me do with all this, I felt the need to start journaling. One night after my hysterectomy while sitting on the couch, I decided to create this website to share my story. The thought of sharing my HPV story with the whole world was a little scary but, here we are, lol. I hope you feel encouraged and start sharing your story too.
